Elder Ndukwe Hails Abia D.Gov On His Birthday Celebration, Vows To Get Rid Of Dirt In Ohafia

The coordinator Abia State Environmental Protection Agency, ASEPA Ohafia management zone, Elder James Ndukwe has expressed his zeal to get rid of dirt in Ohafia to enable the zone compete favourably with other urban areas in terms of cleanliness.

Hon. Ndukwe who made his intentions known while interacting with a cross section of journalists at Amaekpu, in Ohafia L.G.A, of Abia state, said he constantly mobilize his men to clean and cart away refuse in the zone.

Ndukwe revealed that their hiccups remained nonchalant attitude the residents exhibits towards their environment/surroundings but said that with aggressive sensitization, they have been witnessing attitudinal change from the residents.

His words, “we need to have a neat, clean and green environment in Ohafia. When our environment is clean, sickness and all kinds of diseases will flee away. Ohafia residents should know that cleanliness is next to godliness. ASEPA is ready to collect all the refuse and deposit it at the dumpsite”.

Elder James Ndukwe lauded Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for creating ASEPA Ohafia management zone and promised to do all his best to get rid of dirt in Ohafia.

He seized the opportunity to eulogize the sterling attributes of the Abia number ll (2) citizen, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu on his birthday celebration and prayed God to sustain him with sound health and longevity.
