Free medical outreach: Gov Ikpeazu commend Aba south Deputy Chairman

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has commended the Deputy Chairman of Aba South Local Government Area for the free medical outreach she organised for residents of the LGA.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary of Government House Umuahia, Alozie Odoemela, the Governor noted that Health is one of the key pillars of his administration’s developmental agenda and commended the Deputy Chairman for organising such an outreach for the good health of the people.

Speaking at the event which held at CS Park Aba, the Deputy Chairman of Aba South Local Government Area, Peace Nwaobilor, said the programme which is done in conjunction with Gehom Foundation, was a fulfilment of her campaign promise to the people of Aba South LGA to reach the grassroot with the dividends of Democracy.

She said beneficiaries of the free health care programme received variety of medical care ranging from diagnosis, eye treatment, dental care with some booked for surgery free of charge.

She commended Governor Ikpeazu for the support in making her dreams a reality, while promising to do more for the people.

Some of the beneficiaries of the free medical service, thanked the Deputy Chairman for her benevolence and prayed for God’s blessing to do more.

Highlights of the program was the distribution of free eyeglasses and drugs .
