The state governor who was speaking during the graduation ceremony of 50 youths trained in various household products by speak Africa international center for development held in Aba south local government headquarters expressed gratitude to the councillor representing ward 13 in Aba south legislative council Hon. Augustine Akomas for single handedly sponsoring the training of the 50 graduates in various skills.

Dr lkpeazu represented by his special Adviser on social investment Hon. Chinenye Nwaogu noted that what the councillor representing Ward 13 in Aba south Hon. Akomas has done, has became a test case to all councillors adding that democracy is all about touching lives of people at down trodden.

The state chief executive explained that his administration trained 30 youths in China on mechanized shoe production,consistent promotion of made in Aba products and establishment of shoe and garment factories in Aba to place the state on map of the world economy.

Earlier the member representing Aba federal constituency chief Chimaobi Ebisike represented by Mr Frank lwula promised to support the councillor representing Ward 13 in Aba south legislative council Hon. Augustine Akomas in his philanthropic gesture and encouraged him to sustain the tempo.

In their separate remarks, a former executive chairman Obingwa local government area chief Hon Amaechi Hanson , Chief Azubuike Erondu Chief Adimchi Nwaigwe represented by comrade Chibueze Anumadu , Chairman Aba south traditional rulers council Eze lbe Enyeazu, Lady Sarah Okezie advised some state legislators and councillors to emulate the good deeds of Hon. Akomas.

Responding, the chief whip Aba south legislative council Hon. Augustine Akomas said he embarked on training of 50 youths in various household products ranging from manufacturing of lzal,bleach,liquid soap,soups ,car wash among other things to compliment the skill acquisition and empowerment programs of the state governor Dr Okezie lkpeazu.

The highlights were the governor’s promised to give twenty thousand naira to each graduant and presentation of certificates to the 50 graduants.
