Aba Ahia Udele Accident: Anyaso Visits Scene, Calls for Proper Check on Road Worthiness
The Founder, Chima Anyaso Foundation and President General of the prestigious ABA Elite Club UMU-ABA CONNECT ASSOCIATION, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, has lauded the Governor of Abia State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for embarking on rescue efforts after the unfortunate incident at Ahia Udele Market, Waterside, Aba.
Anyaso who stated this on Sunday morning while visiting the scene of the incident, commended the governor particularly for deploying men on ground to assist the Police in dowsing tension among other things, maintaining that it is not a time to apportion blame.
He called on the State Government and agencies involved in checking vehicles to ensure they are road worthy, to ensure that vehicles such as the trailer that caused the mishap are checked properly, stressing that such vehicles should be impounded when declared unfit to ply the roads.
Anyaso said this has become imperative to check the increasing number of road accidents, expressing optimism that those in-charge of traffic must have learnt one or two lessons in order to avert this kind of unfortunate incident in future.
He commiserated with the deceased families, praying that God will comfort them especially in their moments of grief while stating his readiness to assist them through his Chima Anyaso Foundation as the Abia State Government and Eziama Divisional Police Officer will guide them accordingly.
