2023: Be Resolute, We will do it together with our brothers from Old Bende – Chief Uzo Ihuka

Chief (Sir) Uzo Ihuka has charged the Youths of Ukwa La Ngwa and all from Old Aba division to be resolute and steadfast as 2023 election draws closer.

Chief Ihuka made this call yesterday the 18th day of February 2022, at Ngwa High School Aba during the FIRST EVER UKWA LA NGWA MEGA SUMMIT organized by Ukwa La Ngwa Youths which has their convener as Mr. Ogu Okechukwu Charles.

Chief Ihuka stressed that he who comes to EQUITY must come with clean hands, stating that our yearnings are JUST. He stated that the Old Bende division has taken their part by going for 16 years, narrating that EQUITY started from Abia North in Old Bende Division and settled in Old Bende part of Abia Central making it a total of 16 years for the Old Bende Division before moving to Abia South of Old Aba Division which is where it is now. It is only EQUITABLE AND JUSTIFIABLE if governorship seat settles in Abia Central part of Old Aba Division ( Isiala Ngwa & South and Osisioma LGAs) before traveling back to Abia North of Old Bende Division ~~Chief Ihuka.

He highlighted that in as much as the Old Aba Division is not afraid of going into the election, he stressed that our yearnings would be achieved smoothly with the help of our brothers from Old Bende Division hence, call on men and women of good conscience to be good ambassadors of peace and put in our best to respect the Abia Charter of Equity.

He reemphasized his confidence in people of Old Bende Division, stressing that they will support the Old Aba Division in their agitation as the Old Aba Division have always supported them.

Ihuka lastly passed vote of confidence in Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu PhD, outlining his outstanding performances both in infrastructural development, human capacity building and other key projects has embarked on.
