With the crisis rocking APC in Abia state and the growing issues between Hon Emeka Okoroafor and the Hon Minister of mines and steel Development Dr Sampson uchechukwu Ogah, one will assume that the Ogah wings covering the member Representing Isuikwuato State Constituency has long left him as he has pledged his loyalty to Hon Nkeiruka Onyejiocha who is the deputy whip of the federal house of Representatives.
Today we look at the possibility of Hon Emeka Okoroafor retuning back to the house for another four years of legislative activity and those who will be a stumbling block to his going back to the house.
- Hon Bar Emeka Okorafor :
Hon Bar Emeka Okoroafor is the current house member representing the good people of Isuikwuato State Constituency under All Progressive Congress (APC).
He’s from Ovim in Isuikwuato Local Government Area.
Emeka Okoroafor is a first timer who was elected into the house during the 2019 general elections under the platform of APC.
He is also making every possible arrangements to return to the state house of assembly in the coming general elections.
Hon Emeka Okorafor performance in the house has been rated zero, outside been in charge of public petition, bills none, motion none has yielded any impact in the life of ndi Isuikwuato.
Some said his only achievements as a house member is just his marriage.
- Hon Chima Agbaeze : Hon Chima Agbaeze who hails from Umuobiala Community in ward 4 was a two time Transition Committee (TC) Chairman and the current Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato LGA.
He was appointed TC Chairman a week or so to the 2019 gubernatorial elections and was re-appointed for the second time by Gov Okezie Ikpeazu.
He contested for the 2020 Local Government Elections and was declared the winner by ABSIEC led by Prof Mkpa Agu Mpka.
Hon Chima has broken all records set by previous LGA Chairman but elected and appointed, Hon Chima was elected 2021 LGA Chairman of the year and he is the Secretary of ALGON in Abia State, rumors has it that he has the Blessings of the Governor, the Governor always speaks good about him anytime anywhere youth in Governance is mentioned, just like the Governor introduced him to the crowd at Anambra during Anambra Guber election where he told the crowd that the youth must be included in Governance and that Chima is a local government Chairman in his state and he is doing extremely well.
It has been alleged that, Chima Agbaeze is also warming up to represent the people of Isuikwuato LGA at the Abia State House of Assembly come 2023.
- Chief Lucky Johnson :
Chief Lucky Johnson who hails from Umuasua is a South African based business man who came into Abia State politics few years ago.
He was an aspirant in the just concluded 2020 LG elections.
Lucky Johnson is also said to be preparing to represent the people of Isuikwuato at the state house of assembly.
- Hon Ugo Ochemba :
Hon Ugochukwu Ochemba is from one of the communities in Eluama and he’s based in Abuja.
He is a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and a die hard supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He is said to be passionate about the good people of Isuikwuato LGA.
