The one day Abia Peoples Democratic Party Tour to Ohafia Local Government Area have recorded stunning appearances by different contenders of elective offices in the party ahead of the 2023 General Election in Abia State and Nigeria as a whole.
One of the spectacular entrants was that of a foremost contender for Ohafia South State Constituency, Hon. Ebin Kalu Orji (Popularly known as Chief Obia Kalu), stormed the venue amidst fanfare with his retinue of supporters, chanting, singing with Brass Band in procession to the venue. A statement of fact that he means business and is ready for the showdown as the contest continues to take shape.
As a matter of priority, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has continued to exhibit formidability and strength ahead of the 2023 General Election with a clear statement that Abia remains PDP State.
The Abia State Chairman, Chief Allwell Asiforo Okere, PhD., reiterated the commitment of the party and the new executives to continue to work round the clock to ensure unity and progress of the ruling party in the state.
The one day program that attracted party faithful, stalwarts, stakeholders and who is who in Abia politics was held in Ohafia Local Government Headquarters, Ebem Ohafia.
