Anambra State Government Honours Sir Mac Atasie


In recognition of his services and efforts in enhancing revenue generation and improving the economy of the state, the Governor of Anambra state gov. Chief Willie Obiano on Wednesday 10th of Mach 2022 honored Sir Mac Atasie with an award of “Distinguished Anambra State Commander” the event which was held inside the newly constructed 10,000 capacity ultra-modern conference center constructed by Gov. Obiano, the Governor also recognized other notable Anambra Indigenes including Chief Emeka Anyaoku, The Obi Of Onitsha Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe (Agbogidi), former governor of Anambra state Sir Peter Obi, Chief Allen Onyema, the owner of Airpeace, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi, Chief Innocent Chukwuma (innoson), Chief Cosmas Maduka (coscharis), Hon. Uche Okafor, Speaker Anambra State house of Assembly, Senator Uche Ekwunife, Ozonkpu Sir Victor Oye, APGA National Chairman, Senator Victor Umeh etc.

While presenting the award, the Gov. Sir Willie Obiano, thanked Sir Mac Atasie, for assisting his government greatly and described Sir Atasie, as one of the pillars of his administration who helped in improving the economy of the state using technology and ICT.

A book titled AKPOKUEDIKE, written in honour of Chief Willie Obiano was also launched with the governor performing the unveiling ceremony
