It was a joyful atmosphere at the Aba South LG Headquarters as friends and political associates on Wednesday 23rd March 2022, purchased and handed over the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly nomination form to Hon PRINCESS PEACE NWOBILO.
Mr Ugochukwu Ezenwa the Leader of group in his remarks before the presentation of the forms to Hon Princess peace at her office in Aba South Local Government , said the gesture was in fulfilment of the promise made by the friends to foot the bill for her nomination and expression of interests forms.
Mr Ezenwa noted optimistically, that, with the fulfilment of their part, the Deputy chairman of Aba South would be encouraged to declare interest to contest the Aba Central State Constituency seat in the House of Assembly in the forthcoming general election come 2023.
The forms were handed over to Hon Princess peace by the Leader of the group Mr Ugochukwu Ezenwa.
In her response, Hon Princess Peace said she was overwhelmed by the gesture of her friends who believed in her capacity and ability to give Aba central Constituency quality representation.
In her words, “I’m encouraged by this gesture today, it shows my people believe in my ability, and I accept the message you’re sending me to Abia House of Assembly
“I’ll go and give Aba central a voice, steady and strong in Umuahia. I’ll give Aba Central quality representation and build on the imperishable legacies of our leader, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu by attracting developmental projects to Aba Central and sponsor bills that would address the needs of our people.
