SSA TO THE GOVERNOR OF ABIA STATE RECEIVES NAASS NATIONAL PRESIDENT ELECT

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, Comrade Ndom Chibuzor Uchendu has charged Abia Students to remain focused and determined in the pursuit of their chosen careers in life.

Comrade Ndom who gave the charge during the official presentation of the new President Elect of National Association of Abia State Students NAASS, Comrade Bethel Agbara to him at his office by the Electoral Committee, urged them to redouble their efforts and support the new executive to succeed in office.

The SSA to the Governor on Student Affairs while congratulating Comrade Bethel Agbara and his Excos for emerging victorious in the last NAASS election held in the state, urged him to use his new office to continue supporting the Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu led administration in the state and come up with ideas and innovations that will revamp the association for the overall good of Abia Students.

He further used the medium to commend Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu for his sustained support to the Student community as well as thanked the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere, Elder Erondu Uchenna Erondu for their fatherly role at ensuring a peaceful, free, fair and credible NAASS election.

Earlier in their speeches, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Comrade Ukanwata Daniel, Secretary of the Committee, Comrade Idika Agwu Okpo, the outgoing president of NAAS, Comrade Remijus Nwazuo, said the essence of their visit is to officially present to the state government through Comrade Ndom Chibuzor Uchendu the new President Elect of NAASS, Comrade Bethel Agbara.

Responding, the NAASS President Elect, Comrade Bethel Agbara while thanking Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere, Elder Erondu Uchenna Erondu, SSA to the Governor on Student Affairs, Comrade Ndom Chibuzor Uchendu, NAASS and NANS Stakeholders, Abia State Students amongst others for their support during the last NAASS election promised not to betray the confidence reposed on him.
