Ahead of the 2023 General election in Abia state and Nigeria at large, an Arm of ukwa la Ngwa elders Council, All Ukwa la Ngwa youth forum have endorsed Prof Eleazar Uche Ikonne as it’s Governorship candidate come 2023.
In a memo made available to Naijadailyng247 and signed by the convener of the group Comrade Okechukwu Charles Ogu and co-signed by 8 others representing the various local government making up ukwa la Ngwa declared total support to the Guber aspiration of the former Vice Chancellor of Abia state University Prof Uche Ikonne.
The group also passed a vote of confidence on the Governor of the state Dr Okezie Victor Chibuikem Ikpeazu, siting that there has been a remarkable improvement from where he met Abia in 2015 and where it is now.
They affarim their support to the decision of the Ukwa la Ngwa elders Council and promised to abide by it.
