Governor Okezie Ikpeazu welcomed his guest, the National Chairman of the PDP and a former President of the Nigerian Senate, HIS Excellency, Senator Dr. Iyorchia Ayu to the Governor’s Lodge, Government House Umuahia for a brief reception before heading to the venues of the commissioning ceremonies.
The National Chairman came with the National Secretary, Senator Sam Daddy Anyanwu, BOT Secretary and former Senate President, Senator Adolphus Wabara, South East Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Chief Ali Odefa, other members of the National Working Committee of the PDP.
The Governor was joined by the State Party Chairman, Rt Hon Asiforo Okere and members of the State Executive Committee, former Deputy Governor, Eric Acho Nwakanma, former Chairmen of the PDP, Chief Tony Ukasoanya, Arc. Benson Ezem and Ambassador Empire Kanu, Dr. Max Nduaguibe, etc.
