The Deputy Governor who came back to Abia yesterday after spending almost the whole week in the nations capital Abuja, perfected his plan of joining the New Nigeria People’s Party.
Some of the Allies of the Deputy Governor have already joined NNPP, some of the notable names include an international security expert and former Transition Committee Chairman Ohafia Local Government Area Hon Fred idika Kalu.
His defection is coming after he failed to secure the Gubernatorial ticket of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Abia State.
Bearing last minute changes the Deputy Governor is working on the Guber candidate of NNPP in Abia state Chief Ukpai Iro to step to enable him fly the ticket of the party, INEC calendar for Party primaries will be closed on 7th of June.
