The National Association Of Abia State Students (NAASS) World Wide, under the pragmatic leadership of Comr. Agbara Bethel through this means wish to call on Abia State Students and the general public at large to forthwith stop malignment and degoratory comments about Abia Universities both on and off the social media.
It is quite nauseating that those who can barely defend their WAEC results will swing to the social media at the slightest provocative to disparage a highly revered University, that stands tall above her equals in every strata of measurement. A Sociologist, Frank Edwin, once opined, that a man can best be quantified by her products. The products of our Abia Universities till date speak for her in every strata and tide of life. Hence the need for all to bury their hatchets and jettison the uncalled and unruly media demarketing and disparagement.
As a body, going forward, we may not find it easy with any individual or group of persons that hopes to throw our future and that of institutions into the thin air.
Nonetheless, we call on all the Management of University’s in Abia to up their games in maintaining the records the school has had over the years, and most importantly continue to hoist the flag of excellence and selfless service to the society.
Yet again, we reiterate that miscreants whose hobby is to consistently market Abia Universities in bad light should stop forthwith or get ready to fully slog it out with the National Association Of Abia State Students.
Remember, we don’t have another home to call ours. Abia belongs to all of us as no one is more ABIAN than the other.
