Leaders and Stakeholders in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State have endorsed the Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Abia State, Professor Uche Ikonne, as their sole governorship candidate for the Abia 2023 general elections.
The delegation of the 10 Wards in Osisioma Ngwa made this known during a solidarity visit to Professor Ikonne at his Umuahia residence.
Speaking during the event, the leader of the delegation, Hon.Ogumnka lheanacho said that they have come with one voice to tell the world that Ndi Osisioma Ngwa has today, June 14, 2022, declared their total support towards the gubernatorial bid of Prof. Ikonne.
Also speaking, the PDP LGA Chairman, Chief Ihezuo Ufomba and Chairman of the Stakeholders Forum in Osisioma Ngwa, Elder Sam Njoku who spoke on behalf of PDP and Stakeholders in Osisioma Ngwa respectively, described Professor Uche Ikonne as a distinguished administrator, whose competence, forthrightness and administrative Ingenuity can never be overemphasized.
The PDP State Deputy Chairman , Hon. Obinna Nwachukwu in his speech expressed confidence in the person of Professor Ikonne whom he attests to his ingenuity in leadership, as experienced given the leadership positions he has held.
He assured Prof. Ikonne that Osisioma will give him 100% of their support.
Addressing the delegation, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Professor Uche Ikonne noted very significantly, his long standing relationship with Ndi Osisioma, with a conclusion to run an all inclusive government where every Abian will feel a sense of belonging.
In his vote of thanks, Hon Ikechukwu Nwabeke thanked his brothers for the solidarity and implored them to remain resolute in their support for Professor Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne.
