Chief Barr Jackson,An Indigent of Abiriba in Abia State made the statement when the General Manager Abia State Tourism Board,Hon Atuloma Onyeka Jackie paid him a courtesy visit in his Office in Lagos.
The General Manager Abia State Tourism Board who is on a Tourism Promotion Tour in preparation of the World Tourism Day coming up in September, met with the Abia Born Entrepreneur to solicit for his participation and investor in the Tourism sector of the state considering his huge investments in Lagos State..
Barr Jackson in his response praise the Abia State Tourism Board General Manager for her efforts in promoting the Tourism potentials in Abia State under her watch and her vision to transform the sector to a key revenue generation sector like in other states like Lagos and that he has been following the activities of the Board.Chief Jackson stressed that Abia state has men in the sector who can come together and help to develop the sector and the state and call for the State government to make critical infrastructural development in the sector, reach out to Abia Sons and Daughters out there and to see the sector as a veritable non-oil sector the state could leverage on to generate revenue.In addition,He assured the Tourism Board of his support for their programs as a Patriotic Abian who truly want the state to develop and is always open to work with the Board
The Abia State Tourism Board General Manager also used the occasion to unveil the 2022 Tourism Day celebration logos and Endorsement plague which Chief Jackson in reaction assured the Board of the participation and support of the Dover Hotels Group.
