The Executive Governor of Anambra State His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo has suspended the Transition committee Chairman Nnewi North LGA, Hon Mbazulike Iloka over series of allegation leading to the death of the wife.
This is coming barely 72 hours after the Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy Affairs led other Government functionaries, including Commissioner for Special duties, 20 Transition committee Chairmen and their wives, special Adviser to the Governor on Political matters to condole with the family of Hon Mbazulike.
According to informations on the social media and an alleged picture of the late wife of the transition committee Chairman surfaced, which fueled speculations that she died out of domestic violent, According to a post on social media which alleged that she was beaten to death.
According to close friends of the late wife, she died out of Domestic Violence, while the Husband alleged that she slumped and died, pictures on social media shows some bruises on her forehead and with swollen eyes.
According to the suspension letter signed by the State Commissioner for Local Government, chieftaincy and Community Affairs Hon TonyCollins Nwabunwanne the embattled Transition committee Chairman was suspended to pave way for a fair investigation.
