According to a Twitter post some many controversies have been trailing the none submission of the annual Audit report of the University of Ibadan since 2014 to the Auditor General of Federation, this time around came a new story.
According to a Twitter user by name Enesi with the handle as @MrAbusidiq the External Auditor handling the Audit report went blind while working on the report.
Some Twitter users tweeted “ASUU should have started from here, holding the university governing council accountable, the system have mismanaged the funds meant for the revitalization they are calling for at the moment. Funds from TETfund, ETF and other organisations/individuals as well as their own IGR.
Each time a VC finishes his tenure,he buys himself d latest Toyota Land Cruiser either d Univ council approves it or not.
Another one said ” Yet they’re blaming the Federal Government. Is it too much to ask a citadel of learning to render account of the funds disbursed to them by the FG? It is likely that the funds have been diverted by the Professors.
