The Guber candidate of PDP in the 2023 General election in Abia State Prof Uche Ikonne, has given an insight on his plan for the popular Aba River and Ogbor hill area of Enyimba city.
Prof Ikonne disclosed that he has a plan of dredging the Aba River and beautifying the Ogbor hill axis of Aba and turn it to a site to behold.
Prof Ikonne while interacting with Newsmen described the Ogbor hill axis of Aba as an economic hub of the state that has the capacity to boost tourism in the state and create a good relaxation center in the city of Aba.
On Enyimba hotel, Professor Ikonne disclosed that the present Government made attempt to revive that place but had hitches along the way, he assured that he will look into the issue on assumption of office to find a lasting solution preventing the completion of that edifice which will also boost Economic activities within that area.
