A major supporter of Mr Peter Obi, Aisha Yesufu, has urged Nigerians to vote for individuals that have the right qualities to lead them without consideration for political platform.
Responding to a raging argument on whether Nigerians should vote for only Labour Party Candidates, Ms Yesufu took to her twitter handle to say: “God forbid I become what I want to change. I can never sacrifice competence for partisanship”
It will be recalled that prominent individuals and groups in Abia State, including Ohaneze Ndigbo Youths called on Abians to note that Mr Peter Obi is not on the ballot next week Saturday hence nobody should hide under him to vote for divisive characters who will throw Abia state into avoidable crises.
Speaking during a monitored radio program on Wednesday in Aba, the Secretary General of Ohaneze Youths, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, who is a die hard supporter of Mr Peter Obi called on Abians to vote massively for the PDP candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe as he possesses the qualities that make great leaders.
According to him, “we all supported Peter Obi because we know he is a good and competent leader. Now we should also join hands to vote for Ahiwe because he has the right pedigree to lead Abia into greater progress”.
