Deputy Governor of Kogi State Mr Edward Onoja has declared interest to replace his boss and leader Yahaya Adoza Bello as the Governor of Kogi state as the Administration enters its Seventh year.
The deputy Governor who wrote on his Instagram handle yesterday described himself as the Number one lieutenant of Gov Bello and has worked closely with him and is ready to take up the new Agenda of Kogi state, Onoja a former chief of staff to Governor Bello was sworn in as Deputy Governor after the Impeachment of Mr Simon Achumba.
Edward David Onoja(born August 1974) is a Nigerian politician who has served as the deputy governor of Kogi State since 2019. He hails from Odidoko-Emonyoku in Ogugu District of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
