A State high court in Makurdi Benue state capital has restrain the embattled national Chairman of People’s Democratic Party PDP Senator Iyorchia Ayu from parading himself as the National Chairman of the Party.
In an application filled by Engr Conrad Terhide Utaan, he prayed for the court to restrain Senator Ayu from parading himself as the National chairman of the party, having lost his membership of the party after he was suspended from party at the ward level.
Hon Justice W.I. Kpochi granted the application and adjourned to 17th of April 2023 for hearing.
Senator Ayu was on 24th of March 2023 suspended at the ward level after he was accused of anti party activities and a romance with the ruling All Progressive Congress APC.
