National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party PDP Senator Iyorchia Ayu has stepped down as the National chairman of the party.
This is coming after he was suspended by his ward in Benue state and a court order from Benue High Court ordering him to stop parading himself as the National chairman of the Party.
The party has appointed the Deputy National Chairman, North, Amb Iliya Umar Damagum to Act as National Chairman of the Party pending the hearing of the case.
