Following the impeachment of the speaker of the Abia state House of Assembly Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya orji, the House has elected Hon Chukwudi APUGO as the new speaker of the House.
In a motion moved by the member representing Obingwa West state constituency Hon Thomas Nkoro and seconded by the Member Representating Umunneochi state Constituency Hon Philip Okey Igwe , Hon APUGO was confirmed as the Speaker of the state Assembly.
this follows after the impeachment of the Speaker of the House Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.
