It was a funfair today as the immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu PhD returns to a tumultuous reception of his people.
This is to celebrate the end of his 8years tenure as the Deputy Governor of Abia State, note that no Deputy Governor has ever served an 8years tenure completely in the history of Abia State.
Ude Oko Chukwu was an epitome of humility and loyalty, which saw his relationship with his Boss, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as cordial.
His tenure as the Deputy Governor of Abia State brought lots of development to his people and little wonder all the Nkporo community women, men and youths stayed at home to welcome him in a grand style.
The icing on the ceremony was the Conferment of the highest Chieftancy Title in Nkporo on him as the “AHIIYAA OF NKPORO”.
