The Nigeria Labour Congress has suspended its proposed industrial strike after a meeting with the representatives of the Federal Government led by the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.
The union reached an agreement with the federal government which includes setting up a committee for the review of the minimum wage.
Setting up à committee which will include FG, NOC & TUC to review world bank financed cash transfer etc.
NLC, TUC and FG will meet again on 19th of June to agree on an implementation framework .
