Sanwo-Olu Doles Out N10m To
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has awarded N10,000,000 to the best-graduating student, from Lagos State University, Aminat Yusuf, for attaining a rare accomplishment of a CGPA of 5.00.
The governor, who previously commended Yusuf in a post on his Twitter handle, announced this during the school’s 26th Convocation Award on Thursday.
Yusuf received a N5,000,000 personal donation from Sanwo-Olu, as well as another N5,000,000 from the State Government.
He said, “As a token for her brilliance, I will be giving her a token of N5,000,000 and the State government will give her an additional donation of N5,000,000.”
