Former member Representing Umuahia South state Constituency at the 7th Abia state House of Assembly, Hon Jerry Uzosike has described the statement credited to the former Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chikwenu Kalu describing the 7th Abia State House of Assembly as a jamboree as a very laughable statement and questioned why he missed the sitting of the house for almost One year and Six months.

Hon Jerry, while addressing his followers through his official Facebook handle, described the 7th Assembly as one of the most vibrant and productive House of Assembly in the whole Federation and challenged the former Speaker to show his achievements and not to look for whom to blame.

He said, “How can he know what happened at the 7th Assembly when he missed sitting for One year and six months after he failed in his bid to become the speaker of the 7th Assembly, he was the chairman of the House Committee on Civil Service, all petitions forwarded to him were never looked into, most especially the issue of core and uncore civil servants came to the House and the Speaker sent the petitions to him, and it died a Natural death, he should tell ndi Isiala Ngwa south his achievements in the state House of assembly, you attend the Inauguration of an elected member and took too much alcohol and started talking anyhow”.
