…. WELCOMES SET OF QUADRUPLET BABIES AT OWERRI MUNICIPAL HEALTH CENTER.
As the Imo State Health Insurance Agency rounds up its M&E exercise across the three senatorial zones of the state for the 1st quarter of 2023 today, the Agency has attained numerous milestones which includes the safe delivery of a set of QUADRUPLET BABIES at the Owerri Municipal Health Center.
Leading the joint team for Owerri zone, Dr Success Prosper Ohayagha, the Hon. Commissioner for Health in Imo State stated that it was a thing of joy for the beneficiary family while citing the current high cost of living and the huge amount that could have been encured by the family for hospital bills.
Recall that the Executive Secretary/CEO of the agency, Dr Uche Ewelike, led the team for Okigwe zone while the state’s Hon. Commissioner for Health Insurance, Dr Bathy Okorochukwu led the team for Orlu zone during the exercise which started on Tuesday 18/07/2023 till Saturday 22/07/2023.
The team which comprised of representatives from the World Health Organization Nigeria, the National Health Insurance Scheme, the SA to Governor on Public Enlightenment, the SA to Governor on Health Insurance, the Acting Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health Insurance, various Media personnel, and the agency’s Laison officers for each LGA, recorded tremendous success as implementation across the 305 wards of the state was ascertained to be inline with the fiscal policy of His Excellency, Dis. Sen. Hope Uzodimma and utilization rate was visibly on the high side.
