Breaking: Alleged Writing of Judgement for Judges of PEPT, Fashola petition Jackson Ude & Two others

Former Governor of Lagos state and Former Nigeria Minister for works and Housing Babatunde Raji Fashola has written a petition to the District State  Service (DSS) over a publication by one Jackson Ude on a popular social media platform Twitter now known as X,  where he wrote, “EXPOSED: “FASHOLA IS WRITING PEPT JUDGMENT FOR JUDGES
Former Lagos State Governor and former Minister for Works, Babatunde Fashola and some APC lawyers are allegedly writing the judgment Bola Tinubu and APC intend to hand over to the Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal, PEPT, to adopt.

Fashola who is alleged to have supervised the rigging of the 2023 Presidential election in favor of Tinubu, was also alleged to have written the judgment for Judges in the 2019 election Tribunal that sealed Mohammadu Buhari Presidential election victory.

The former Lagos Governor has remained quiet since after the elections but have been keeping close tabs with Judges handling the Presidential elections petition. 

The Election Tribunal has adopted all final address but yet to announce a date for judgement. Fashola, according to informants, is working day and night to conclude his proposed judgement and hand over to the PEPT Judges.

The Judges aside monetary compensations, have been promised elevation to the Supreme Court should they accept  Fashola’s version.”

It also includes a twitter user by name Yourbasheikh who also shared the alleged defamation by Jackson Ude.

 

On the case of Reportera.ng the former minister also informed the Dss of his publication alleging that men secured his residence admits of PEPT controversy, he wrote “In a surprising turn of events, the Nigerian Army has taken control of Babatunde Fashola’s Abuja residence, limiting movement to and from the former Minister of Works & Housing’s premises. This development comes amidst a backdrop of political tension and speculation regarding Fashola’s alleged involvement in a controversial verdict at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), which has raised concerns about the potential for a miscarriage of justice”.

The former Minister through his lawyers Priory Terrace Solicitors urged the Dss to investigate with the publication, as it was false and was made for the purpose of causing inconvenience, danger, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred and needless anxiety to their clients, contrary to provisions of section 24 of the cybercrimes ( prohibition, prevention, etc) Act 2015
