The Treasure Nigeria union of Road Transport workers, Abia state  has raised alarm for a plot to indict him and paint a picture of him flouting Government orders on collection of Revenues in the state.
Comrade Ephraim in a release accused the former state chairman of the union of hanging up with his group to indict him over issues that has nothing to do with him, According to him all the issues has nothing to do with Abia Revenue but the Leadership of NURTW Abia state chapter.

This is to inform you that there is a grand plan to indict me TOCHI EPHRAIM, by some unscrupulous elements at *LOVE 8:30 PM8:30PM* to appear as a disobedient man to the rule of law, by collecting monies from drivers at OSISIOMA FLYOVER, this is been perpetuated by one Mr. Eugene Eze Job, Chukwudi UMUAHIA COSTA a.k.a (Lookup) and one Mr. Chukwudi Ukaegbu a.k.a OBIAGU who has been promised to roof there houses by the above mentioned EUGENE EZE JOB and these meetings were held at Hillson Hotel Umuahia on Saturday 12/08/23 and De Merit Hotel Umuahia today 14/08/23 respectively.
I want to state categorically that this whole gimmick is about the leadership of NURTW and has absolutely nothing to do with fighting the state government which these disgruntled elements are trying to make it seem so.
I TOCHI EPHRAIM will not, for any reason disobey constituted authority and will remain law abiding, as I have and will not collect any revenue from anyone in and around ABIA STATE until the government deems it fit to contract me to do so.
Please be properly guided so you do not be deceived by enemies of the state.
