It was an exercise of giving back to the host community today the 11th day of September 2023, as Obiakpor Culture and Tourism CDS distributed writing materials to some Students in Obio/Akpor LGA of River State on the 1st day of school resumption for the 2023/2024 academic session after the long holiday.
According to the Corp members, the idea is to motivate students to punctuality to education, as well as give back to their host community in their little capacity.
The exercise books which have the faces of the NYSC DG, The Rivers State Coordinator, the zonal Inspector, the Local Government Inspector, and faces of Obiakpor Culture and Tourism Community Development Service Corp Members indicate that there is a good synergy between the corp members and the NYSC official.
Responding to the kind gesture, students and teachers of the visited schools thanked the corp members and noted that the idea was timely and the first of its kind, as they also prayed and wished the corp members well.
