The House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Umuahia today, dismissed a petition brought before it by Mrs Victoria Onwubiko of the Labour Party on the ground that it lacked merit and that the Petitioner failed to prove allegation of ‘Non-Compliance to Electoral Act during the election.
Mrs Onwubiko had earlier approached the Abia State Assembly election petition tribunal sitting in umuahia the Abia state capital to challenge the declaration of Hon Erondu Uchenna Erondu as the winner of the March 18th House of Assembly election for Obingwa West.
