The Edo State Government has officially invited Governor-elect Senator Monday Okpebholo to begin the transition process ahead of the handover of power. The letter, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Joseph Eboigbe, emphasizes the need for a smooth and effective collaboration between the outgoing administration and the incoming All Progressives Congress (APC) team.
To ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities, Okpebholo and his team have been requested to form their transition team as soon as possible. The government has scheduled an inaugural meeting for members of both transition committees on October 14, 2024.
The Edo State Government expressed its commitment to providing support and resources to facilitate an efficient and effective transition, while looking forward to close cooperation in the coming weeks.
