The All Progressive Congress APC Badarawa/malali ward Kaduna North LGA have suspended its state woman leader, Hajiya Maryam Sulciman, (Mai Rusau) for defending El-Rufai over the state of debt his Administration dragged the state into.
The suspension came after a viral video of her was released on the social media, according to the video clip, she was defending the former Governor of the state, Malam Nasiru El-Rufai over the debt profile of the state.
It could be recalled that the Kaduna state Governor Senator Uba Sani yesterday opened up on the debt profile of the state during a town hall meeting with critical stakeholders of the state, according to Governor Sani the El-Rufai’s administration left behind huge debt burden of 587 million in Dollars and 85 billion in Naira.
This shocking revelation has sparked a series of reactions all over the country and also questioned Sani’s loyalty to the El-Rufai’s.
According to a letter addressed to the state woman leader of APC, she was suspended for misconduct and going against the Party’s constitution, unauthorized publicity of the party’s internal dispute.
