A Lagos Federal High Court sitting in Ikeja the Lagos state capital has granted bail to the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria Godwin Emefiele in the sim of 50 million naira.
Justice Rahmon Oshodi, in his ruling
on the bail application on Friday, admitted Emefiele on bail with two sureties in like sum.
The former CBN governor is facing trial in Lagos on a 26-count charge bordering on abuse of office.
Emefiele is getting a second bail since leaving office last years June, he has been on trial after he was suspended and remove from office by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
