Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has handed over a multi million naira Solar Power project to Ebem Ohafia in Abia State.
The installation of 100MW solar power light ran through Government College road from Ugomba junction (formerly Old Soldier junction ) towards Mmuri, while over 200 pieces of the solar powered light will be mounted in other strategic areas of the community.
In his vote of thanks, Ezie Ogo of Ebem Oha community thanked Hon. Ikenna Ukwa for attracting such huge project to Ebem Ohafia and therefore, encouraged him to continue in his good works towards community development while pouring his royal blessings. He also recalled that Hon. Ukwa had on several occasions through his foundation, sponsored medical outreaches in many Ohafia communities and has helped in fostering unity in Ohafia through sponsorship of football tournaments.
Hon. Nicholas Ikenna Ukwa is a Senior Legislative aide to the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio.
