The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has slammed, one of the music duo, Paul Okoye popularly known as Rude Boy for disrespecting his in-laws at his traditional wedding on Saturday, May 25.
The couple performed the traditional rites over the weekend in Ivy’s hometown of Igbere, Abia state.
On Sunday, May 26, Rudebooy shared pictures with the caption: “IfyNonso”
Following the release of the pictures, Ossai Success, slammed the singer for disrespecting his in-laws as one of the pictures shows Rudeboy wearing a red cap while an elder prayed for him and his wife.
Lamenting the disrespect and how the youth of this generation lacked respect because they have money, Ossai, via his Instagram account on Monday, May 27, wrote: “This is a total disrespect for the elder praying.
“An elder is praying for Rudeboy of P Square during his traditional marriage days back and he is putting on a cap.
“Out of respect for the elder and his prayer, he ought to have pulled off his cap while receiving prayer. The man is not just an elder but an inlaw to him.
“Young guys nowadays lack respect because of money in their possession. This is disrespect to the elder, his prayer and also to culture.”
Paul was previously married to Anita, and their marriage of 8 years produced three children, Andre, Nathan and Nadia.
