Benin City, Edo State
The Edo State Government has officially directed the retrieval of 22 official government vehicles allocated to the Office of the Deputy Governor, currently in the custody of former Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu.
In a public notice issued today, the government has given Mr. Shaibu a seven-day ultimatum from the date of the publication to return the vehicles. Relevant security agencies have been alerted to retrieve the vehicles if they are not returned within the stipulated time.
The vehicles in question include various models of Toyota Landcruisers, Prado Jeeps, Hilux Vans, Sienna (Siren), and Mitsubishi Pajeros. The full list of vehicles and their Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) or chassis numbers is provided below:
