The former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sir Christopher Ogbonnaya Enweremadu has expressed deep regret over the passing of renowned industrialist, Elder Emmanuel Adelu, (MFR)
He extends his heartfelt condolences to Elder Adelu’s family, acknowledging the significant void left by his departure, while describing him as a piller to his family, the church, and his People, and for his selfless service to humanity.
Sir. Enweremadu emphasises the profound impact of Elder Adelu’s loss on the socio-political landscape of the Ngwa people, noting that Elder Adelu was a key figure to Abia State and Nigeria at large.
The former Abia Speaker who then call upon the Ngwa people, Abians, and Nigerians to honour Elder Emmanuel Adelu with the dignified burial for which he deserves.
In his tribute, Sir. Enweremadu urges everyone who knew Elder Adelu to emulate his qualities of brotherhood, his commitment to supporting one another, and his dedication to advocating for the downtrodden in Ngwa land and Abia as a whole.
The Crown Prince who prayed for the repose of Elder Adelu’s soul and for God Almighty to grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
He then pledge his support and that of the Enweremadu’s Royal family to the Adaelu’s during this difficult time.
