A new video has surfaced online in which popular crossdresser, Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, also known as Bobrisky, recounts his experience with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service following his arrest for money spraying and alleged money laundering.
Bobrisky, who was sentenced to three months imprisonment without the option of a fine, revealed in the video how he avoided spending a night in the correctional service . According to him, he paid the EFCC a hefty sum of ₦15 million to drop the money laundering charges against him. He further claimed that his “godfather” arranged with the Controller General of theNigerian Correctional Service to keep him in a private apartment near the facility, instead of the general prison population.
Bobrisky also mentioned the involvement of singer Falz, his father, human rights lawyer Femi Falana SAN, and other influential figures in the process.
