Ahead of the November 2nd Local Government Chairmanship elections in Abia State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Isiala Ngwa South Chapter successfully conducted its primary elections today, during which Hon. Chief Loveday Nwachinemere Alioha was chosen as the party’s consensus candidate.

The democratic process was witnessed by key leaders, stakeholders, and party members, reflecting the party’s commitment to a fair and transparent selection process.

In his acceptance speech, Chief Alioha expressed his gratitude to the party’s leadership for entrusting him with the mandate to represent the PDP in the upcoming elections. He promised not to disappoint, pledging to utilize the platform to bring about progress and make Isiala Ngwa South a beacon of hope. He called on all party members to unite and support him in the quest for victory.

Hon. Dennis Rowland Chinwendu, the Leader of the party and member representing Isiala Ngwa South in the Abia State House of Assembly, expressed his satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the primaries. He commended the stakeholders and leaders for their unity and commitment to ensuring a fair process that led to Chief Alioha’s emergence as the flagbearer.

Chinwendu further urged party members to avoid divisions and approach the upcoming elections as a united force to secure a decisive victory for the PDP.
