The management of Abia State Polytechnic, led by Rector Engr. (Dr) C.K. Okoro, paid a visit on October 25, 2024, to Chief (Sir) Obinna C. Anaba at his residence in Abayi Isingwa, expressing gratitude for his contributions to the institution’s recent Distinguished Guest Lecture and Awards Ceremony.

Chief Anaba, a community leader and philanthropist, had delivered a compelling lecture on “Growing Talent Capacity: The Key to Sustainable Development” on October 23, 2024. His insights on human capacity building and his example as a role model were well received, and he was conferred the title of Distinguished Fellow of the Polytechnic.

During the visit, Dr. Okoro thanked Chief Anaba for his inspiring presentation and his ongoing support for students and faculty. “His insightful presentation and wealth of experience shared with the audience were truly inspiring, and we are grateful for his contributions to the growth and development of our institution,” Dr. Okoro stated.

Chief Anaba, in response, expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the institution whenever needed. The visit concluded with a vote of thanks and closing prayer by Dr. C.A. Ogbuji, the Deputy Rector of Administration.
