Controversial Nigerian internet personality and crossdresser, Bobrisky, has lashed out at Nigerian lawmakers for what he describes as misplaced priorities in governance.

In a strongly worded social media post, Bobrisky criticized the Senate and House of Representatives for allegedly failing to call an urgent meeting regarding the killings in Benue State. He compared their inaction on the security crisis to their swift response when his name comes up in political discussions.

ā€œSenator/house representative didn’t call urgent meeting over the killing happening in Benue… but they can call urgent meeting when it comes to Bobrisky. Shame!!!! Shame!!!! Shame!!!ā€ he wrote.

He further expressed frustration at the state of the nation, stating, ā€œWhat a shameful country… Nigeria is a mess,ā€ and condemned politicians for allegedly ignoring the plight of the poor while focusing on trivial matters.

Bobrisky’s outburst appears to follow the reported discussions in Nigeria’s legislative chambers about his public behavior and persona, which have drawn both praise and criticism nationwide.

Many of his followers have reacted to the post with mixed opinions, with some supporting his call for lawmakers to focus on critical national issues like security and poverty, while others maintain that public figures must also be held accountable for their influence.

This latest development adds to the ongoing national debate about priorities in Nigerian governance and the role of social figures in public discourse.
