The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Dr. Mkor Aondona, Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Documentation, Research, and Planning, over serious allegations of s*xtortion and cyberbullying.

Dr. Aondona was apprehended on Friday, June 20, 2025, by operatives from the EFCC’s Makurdi Zonal Directorate following multiple petitions from female university students.
According to the complaints, Aondona allegedly preyed on slim and attractive young women, offering them ushering jobs in exchange for sexual favors. The victims claimed they were secretly recorded during these encounters without their consent.
They further alleged that the footage was later used to blackmail them into continued sexual involvement under threat of public exposure. Several of the explicit videos have reportedly been circulated via messaging platforms and may already be online.
The EFCC is currently investigating the case, with a focus on cybercrime, sexual exploitation, and breach of privacy.
