Israel launched a wave of airstrikes on key Iranian military targets Monday, hitting airfields and strategic infrastructure in response to the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that the attacks struck critical regime strongholds in Tehran, including the Basij headquarters, Evin Prison, Revolutionary Guards’ internal security offices, and the ideological command center. Symbolic targets like the “Destruction of Israel” clock in Palestine Square were also hit.
“For every attack on the Israeli home front, the Iranian dictator will be punished,” Katz declared, vowing that the strikes would persist “with full force” until Israel’s war objectives are met.
