In a major development within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu has been officially directed to immediately resume duties as the National Secretary of the party. This announcement was made today during a press briefing held at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, by the Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Damagum.
Ambassador Damagum further revealed that the much-anticipated 100th meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) will no longer hold due to identified constitutional irregularities. In its place, the party will convene a meeting of the National Caucus on June 30th.
The PDP continues to reaffirm its commitment to internal democracy and constitutional order.
