Suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has sent a strong message to members of the Simplified Movement, telling those nursing ambitions for local government chairmanship or councillorship positions that such expectations will no longer be entertained.

Addressing his supporters yesterday in Port Harcourt, Fubara declared:
“For those of you nursing chairmanship or councillorship ambitions and are following Simplified because of that, I’m sorry to say — it can’t happen again.”

He urged members of the movement to stand with him genuinely, especially now when there are no political positions or benefits at stake.
