Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has distanced himself from campaign materials allegedly produced for the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a meeting with the Simplified Movement in Port Harcourt yesterday, the governor expressed anger after a video showing branded caps and shirts was forwarded to him.
“I was pissed off. Someone forwarded to me a video showing where they were producing campaign materials—caps and shirts—for the 2027 General Elections. I am not aware of it, and I did not authorize or send anyone,” he said.
