For regular Naira cardholders, the international spending limit is set at $1,000 per quarter, while Platinum Card holders enjoy a significantly higher cap of $4,000 per quarter. These limits apply to both online transactions and in-store POS purchases made outside Nigeria.

This development marks a major relief for GTBank customers who have faced international spending restrictions in recent years due to foreign exchange challenges in the Nigerian financial sector.

The bank has advised customers to note the limits and confirmed that terms and conditions apply.
